  • Cecilia Mwakajila

    FOUNDER

    Cecilia is a professional preschool teacher and child development specialist with experience working in a preschool where she saw a need to help underprivileged children obtain quality early education. She dedicated her whole career to helping improve the condition of early childhood education in Tanzania. She is the founder of the Early Education Awareness Organization.

  • Rashidi Baraka

    CO-FOUNDER

    Rashidi is Cecilia's husband, overseeing all Earl Education Awareness organization operations. He manages the organization's day-to-day operations and has experience as an operations manager for several other organizations. His prior experience has allowed him to engage and contribute to improving Tanzania's Early Education programs. Together with Cecilia, Rashidi is making changes and moving the organization forward.

  • Bernhardt Ramat

    CO-FOUNDER

    Bernhardt is passionate about educating children of all ages in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). He has volunteered as a consultant and software engineer for several NGOs working to educate children in South Africa to promote skills in STEM. He has also taught Quantum Physics and Computing to children in charter schools in the United States to build skills in STEM for underprivileged communities. Bernhardt is working on innovative ideas to improve early childhood education in Tanzania with the help of technology.

  • Ben Kirato

    FINANCE MANAGER AND ADVISOR

    Ben Kirato is a seasoned software developer specializing in educational technology, specifically in learning management software, online education, and higher education systems. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Ben is an engaged community organizer and committed volunteer. His dedication also extends to children's advocacy, where he fervently advocates for the rights and well-being of young learners. His diverse contributions within the education sector and the community underscore his steadfast commitment to effecting positive change.

    Nate Kirato is a remarkable individual, a dedicated Early Education Special Needs Teacher, a passionate community volunteer, an educator, and an entrepreneur. With an unwavering commitment to the well-being and education of young children, especially those with special needs. Her tireless efforts, boundless compassion, and proactively perpetual learning to play her part make her a beacon of hope and a driving force for positive change in her community and the world of education, ultimately making a significant difference in the lives of children with special needs and their families.
